IWF 2008 online registration for buyers/attendees opened
January 2, 2008 at www.iwfatlanta.com. By registering in advance, buyers pay $15 and save $10 over the on-site registration fee of $25, plus the added convenience of
having their badges mailed to them in advance of the show.

The International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair-USA® 2008 will be held Wednesday-Saturday August 20-23, 2008, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. More than 1,300 exhibitors will display the newest technology in machinery, supplies and services for woodworking and related industries in more than 800,000 net square feet of space.

Displays will include more than 200 international companies and more than 140 first time exhibitors in key market segments.

Companies sending a team of three or more buyers to the show can save even more. Three or more employees working for the same company at the same location can register in advance for just $10 per person by going to the IWF website and clicking on Buyer Information – team registration.
Buyer hotel reservations also opens January 2, and full information on discounted hotel rooms, air travel and rental cars will be available on the IWF website www.iwfatlanta.com.

IWF is the industry’s largest show in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world. More than 43,000 visitors from over 80 countries and all 50 states, including 25,000 buyers, are expected to attend the Fair.

“Whether your business is in the Americas, Europe, Asia or anywhere else in the world, IWF 2008 is where you need to be to see the most comprehensive new technology displayed for all of the world to see machinery, supplies and services all in
one place, all at one show, said Charles R. (Tommy) Tomkins, IWF 2008 Chairman and President of Cresent Fine Furniture Company, based in Gallatin, Tennessee. “Basically
it’s the largest shopping mall in the world for woodworking and related industries during our four days in Atlanta,” added Tomkins.

“We’re all looking for new ways to improve our business and the industry needs to make a business decision to take the time away from their business to attend IWF 2008. Innovation drives manufacturing and putting your people in touch with the new technology and the innovative products they need to succeed is a sound business decision. In addition, buyers can get the latest information on industry trends through
sixteen informative technical sessions geared to meet challenges facing the industry and networking with peers from around the world,” Tomkins said.

Registration fees for the educational sessions are $35 in advance and $45 onsite.

The 2008 Fair will showcase a Technical Conference providing real answers from industry leaders, the New Product Showcase, The Challengers Distinguished Achievement Awards® the most coveted award for innovation in the industry and the trend setting student Design Emphasis Competition. In a new development for the 2008 Fair, IWF, Wood & Wood Products magazine and the University of British Columbia will present a comprehensive one-day Finishing Symposium on August 19th, 2008, the day before the Fair opens. Symposium fees are $350 in advance and $400 on-site.
