Tom Reisert of Edward B. Mueller
Co., Inc. was elected WMIA president at this year's Woodworking
Industry Conference. Reisert will be supported by a strong
cabinet of officers and directors in advancing the association's
agenda for the next two years. David Rothwell, Stiles Machinery,
Inc., was elected vice president and Scott Cayce, The Cayce
Company, will serve as secretary/ treasurer.
WMIA members also elected five
directors to three-year terms. They are:

Jim Scarlett, Scarlett Machinery, Inc.
Importer Directors
Roberto Ghizzoni, OMGA, Inc.
Richard Hannigan, HOLZ-HER, Inc.
Directors John Henderson, Woodworkers
Emporium; John Park, Delmac Machinery Group; and Kevin Saylor, Schmalz,
Inc. will continue to serve on the board, as will Immediate Past
President Giordano Checchi.
WMIA Service Awards
WMIA also presented service awards to
retiring directors and committee chairs. Jerry Hilgefort, J.J. Hilgefort
Woodworking Machinery; Steve Jesnek, Stiles Machinery, Inc.; David
Ortmayer, Italpresse; and Joseph Strouse, Hermance Machine Company were
recognized for their service on the board of directors. John Park and
Jim Scarlett were recognized for chairing the Marketing and Statistics
Committees respectively. |
