GLENDALE, OR – Swanson Group Inc. said it will take advantage of the slowed-business cycle to close its plywood plant to conduct upgrades.

Approximately 200 employees will be laid off until May, according to The Register-Guard. The lay-offs include employees at the company’s sawmills in Glendale, Roseburg and Neal. Read more.
