RALEIGH, NC – Schmalz Inc. has begun its second decade of business in the United States as a subsidiary of German-based vacuum technology specialist J. Schmalz GmbH.

The company, which opened its Raleigh office in an 1,800-square-foot building and five employees today operates out of 20,000-square-foot building and employs 24 people.

Products include vacuum gripping, handling and clamping systems.
