Leitz Tooling Systems, a member of the worldwide leading manufacturing group of machine tools for processing wood and advanced materials, announced the appointment of Jasna Serventi to the position of Regional Sales Manager for their Western Region. Serventi brings over 40 years experience in the tooling industry -- 30 with Leitz and most recently with SCM Group North America.

Leitz Tooling Systems is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leitz GmbH & Co. KG, which has been headquartered in Oberkochen, Germany for 136 years, and employs 4,700 worldwide. Leitz Tooling Systems is headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, with a manufacturing facility in Jasper, IN, as well as 11 service centers across the United States and Canada.

In 2010, the company is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
